U12 Boys Pumas
DISTRICT II CUP CHAMPIONS Fall 2004

The U12 boys Pumas successfully defended their 2003 U11 District II championship!  Coached by Ramiro Ramos, the Pumas opened the tournament by coming behind to forge a 2-2 tie with the Palo Alto Strikers.  They followed that by again coming from behind 0-2 to beat the Peninsula Gunners 3-2 to win their pool and advance to Sunday's semi-finals. In the semi-finals the Pumas once again fell behind 0-2 only to come-back once again and win 3-2 against a tough San Carlos Thunder squad.   In an unbeliveable and exciting final the Pumas defeated the Almaden Comets in overtime!
